Itinerary in Detail
Day 1 — Sydney → Coffs Harbour
Approx. drive time: 6.5–7.5 hrs (excluding stops)
Theme of the day: Seaside towns, historic lighthouses, and lush hinterland views.
06:30 – Private Pickup, Sydney CBD / Airport / Home
Your chauffeur arrives at your door in a luxury, air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy plush leather seating, Wi-Fi, and complimentary bottled water as you depart the city while the sun rises over Sydney’s eastern skyline.
08:15 – Newcastle Foreshore & Merewether Ocean Baths (20–30 mins)
Your first coastal stop takes you to Newcastle’s waterfront. Choose between strolling along the working harbour — where tugboats and freighters pass — or visiting Merewether Ocean Baths, one of the largest ocean bath complexes in the Southern Hemisphere. Perfect for refreshing morning photos with the Pacific as your backdrop.
10:45 – Port Macquarie & Tacking Point Lighthouse (45 mins)
Perched dramatically above the ocean since 1879, Tacking Point Lighthouse offers sweeping views along the coast. During whale migration (May–Nov), you might spot humpbacks breaching offshore. A short coastal path allows you to stretch your legs and capture Instagram-worthy shots.
We’ll then head into town for a 45–60 minute lunch break, where you can choose from chic waterfront cafés or laid-back beach bistros.
14:15 – Nambucca Heads & the V-Wall (20 mins)
A hidden gem, Nambucca Heads’ V-Wall is an outdoor gallery where visitors paint rocks with art, quotes, and tributes. The river mouth setting is peaceful, and the contrast of turquoise water with white sandbars is breathtaking.
16:15 – Coffs Harbour – Sealy Lookout & Forest Sky Pier (30–40 mins)
Just 10 minutes off the highway, Sealy Lookout rises above banana plantations to reveal a sweeping panorama of the Coffs Coast. The cantilevered Forest Sky Pier seems to float in mid-air, offering an uninterrupted coastal view stretching up to 100 km on a clear day.
17:15 – Coffs Harbour – Big Banana Fun Park (Optional 10–15 mins)
An Aussie icon since 1964, the Big Banana is a quick fun photo stop before heading to your accommodation.
18:00 – Check-in: Coffs Harbour (Overnight)
Your evening is at leisure. Stroll along the Jetty Strip, where you’ll find fine dining restaurants, casual seafood eateries, and wine bars. Your chauffeur can recommend dining options and arrange transfers if needed.
(Accommodation is client’s own booking; we can suggest luxury resorts or boutique stays.)
Day 2 — Coffs Harbour → Gold Coast (via Byron Bay)
Approx. drive time: 3.5–4.5 hrs (excluding stops)
Theme of the day: Bohemian beach towns, stunning headlands, and the Gold Coast glamour.
08:00 – Depart Coffs Harbour
Your chauffeur will collect you from your hotel after breakfast for a relaxed drive north.
09:30 – Ballina or Lennox Head Coffee Stop (20–30 mins)
Choose between Ballina’s waterfront cafés overlooking the Richmond River or Lennox Head, a surfer’s paradise with stunning ocean vistas. If time permits, take a quick detour to Lake Ainsworth, a naturally tea-tree–stained freshwater lake framed by golden sand dunes and coastal forest.
10:45 – Byron Bay – Cape Byron Lighthouse & Township (60–90 mins)
Byron Bay is the crown jewel of Australia’s beach culture. We’ll drive up to Cape Byron Lighthouse, the easternmost point of mainland Australia, for panoramic views across endless blue ocean.
Afterwards, explore Byron township — an eclectic mix of boutiques, organic cafés, and artisan markets. The beach is just steps away for a short barefoot stroll.
13:15 – Tweed Heads – Point Danger Lookout (15–20 mins)
Straddling the NSW/QLD border, Point Danger Lookout offers a unique perspective where the Tweed River meets the Pacific. The memorials here commemorate maritime history and the bravery of surf lifesavers.
14:00 – Burleigh Heads – Headland & Village (45–60 mins)
Take a gentle headland walk for views over the iconic Surfers Paradise skyline to the north and Coolangatta to the south. Alternatively, relax in James Street Village, famous for its high-end boutiques, gelato shops, and laid-back cafés.
15:30 – Surfers Paradise / Broadbeach – Gold Coast Arrival
You have the option to:
17:30–18:00 – Drop-off
Your chauffeur will deliver you to your Gold Coast hotel, luxury apartment, or Coolangatta Airport (OOL) for onward travel.
Optional: Extend your stay for an extra day to explore Gold Coast theme parks, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, or Mt Tamborine wineries.
